The app doesn't even start

Do you fullfil the minimum requirements? The app needs at least andoid OS 2.2.x "Froyo" to run on your device.

Is your device suited for this app? Some android devices have special limitations or known bugs which prevent the proper function of our app. Check the compatibility list of devices.

I don't see ANY flights

Do you have an internet connection with your phone? You will need this for the app because live data needs to be fed in. If no internet connection is avaiable or if connection gets lost, the app will tell you by a small warning dialog.

Do you have neither GPS nor WiFi positioning enabled? To work properly the app needs at least your rough position. If you are unsure, open any location based application of your choice (e.g. Google Maps) and check the position it pretends you are.

Are you in an area that is covered by our app? Check the coverage map.

Is your device suited for this app? Some android devices have special limitations or known bugs which prevent the proper function of our app. Check the list of devices.

I don't see some of the flights

Are you in an area that is fully covered by our app? Check the coverage map. Maybe you are in an area that is not fully covered (e.g. coastal areas).

Are you aware that this app relies mainly on ADS-B? Please read our explanations about ADS-B broadcasting

The labels are not shown where I see flights and contrails

Do you have GPS or net-based positioning enabled? To work properly the app needs at least your rough position. If you are unsure, open any location based application of your choice (e.g. Google Maps) and check the position it pretends you are.

Is your compass calibrated? You may check this using the suns real position and the position of the sun supplied by the app. Read also our tutorial on calibration.

Does your device have the right clock setttings? Check the time settings or re-sync the clock and read about calibration.

I don't understand some of the shown flight details

Some aircrafts have no photos at all

The photos shown within the flight details tab are thumbnails of photos taken from www.airliners.net. We have permission of most of the most active photographers there to link their content, which enables us to provide about 300.000 photos taken worldwide. Sadly we can not guarantee to cover each and every aircraft to be available, but coverage lies about 80-90% depending on your area, which is quite a good number.
